Turmeric Chicken Legs

Do you still remember that one of my new year’s resolutions was to prepare different kinds of meat? This is the first step for me. I always eat chicken breast or chicken thigh fillet and I actually never thought about making chicken legs, chicken wings or something like that, even though I really enjoy eating it. A while ago I could buy chicken legs with a discount and I decided to buy them immediately, so I could start working on my new year’s resolutions. I created these simple turmeric chicken legs. Chicken has a very neutral flavour, but when you season it well, it tastes amazing.

Turmeric is one of my favourite spices and I love it in combination with chicken, so it wasn’t a surprise that I made turmeric chicken legs. They are very simple to prepare.  You only have to put all the ingredients for the marinade to together, marinate the chicken for half an hour and then you put it into the oven.

The result is juicy chicken legs with a crispy outside. It goes great with a large salad and homemade fries. Mmmm!

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
